Characters of Robotrek, roughly in order of appearance.
===== Our Hero =====

He uses his brain rather than braun. He dreams of becoming a great inventor like his father, [[:robotrek:characters#dr_akibarah|Dr. Akibarah]].

The manual refers to him as "our hero" since his name is the savegame's name which changes with every play through.

He eventually gets the honorary title "Baibai" by the people from the [[:robotrek:map:village|southern island]] for rescuing them.

===== Dr. Akibarah =====

The father of the hero. Dr. Akibarah is a world famous inventor, he can create a wide range of inventions from vacuums to robots. Dr. Akibarah gets kidnapped by the hackers and is forced to work. During the game the hero must save him.

Some citizens of [[:robotrek:map:rococo|Rococo]] mention a certain incident. That may explain why he lives outside of town. But the [[:robotrek:map:family_tomb|family tomb]] is located at the same site as his current home. Therefore, it can be speculated that the accident happened to an earlier generation of Akibarahs.

===== Kurogane =====

[[:robotrek:characters#dr_akibarah|Dr. Akibarah's]] cat. A very smart animal that follows Akibarah wherever he goes.

===== Nagisa =====

An attractive blond-haired assistant. She will help the Hero in many ways. She is actually an Android created by the [[:robotrek:characters#dr_akibarah|Hero's father]], designed to look like his mother.

===== Mayor =====

Your average, good for nothing politician "running" [[:robotrek:map:rococo|Rococo]]. If he'd been kidnapped, nobody would complain, since the fake replacement could not possible be as lazy as he is.

===== Dr. Einst =====

Dr. Einst is a scientist who works for the Mayor of Rococo. Even though he may look like a normal scientist he is pure evil. Later on in the game you will discover that Dr. Einst is the hackers' leader.

===== Rose =====

At the start of the game, Rose is the Mayor's new intern. But as it turns out she actually works with [[:robotrek:characters#gateau|Gateau]].

===== Ralph and Max =====

This strange pair lives inside the [[robotrek:invent|Invention Machine]]. They work primarily in Research and Development. They will assist you in inventing new and spectacular things. You will find their help invaluable.

===== Carl =====

A kid from [[:robotrek:map:rococo|Rococo]]. Ever since his father disappeared he has become restless. He is not a naughty kid, but he has a tendency to get in trouble.

===== Kotetsu =====

Kotetsu is a very mysterious character. You meet him in a Cave near Rococo as a prisoner. He becomes your friend when you free him. Kotetsu helps you through many parts of the game.

He's basically a smuggler always looking for the next opportunity.
===== Meta Crab =====

An Android the Hackers created from a real crab. He has kidnapped people and forced them to dig for the mysterious Tetron stone. He also likes water.

===== Rask =====

Rask comes from the planet of Choco. He is related to the hero and is a big help to him along his journey.

===== Mint =====

Mint is the top reportor in Rococo. She will go to the ends of the Earth (or Quintenix) just to find the top story, but she is the most annoying character in the game since she keeps running off.

===== Count Prinky =====

Count John Paul Belmont Prinky met [[:robotrek:characters#rask|Rask]] in the past and hid one of the Tetrons in his mansion.

===== Igor =====

A retainer to [[:robotrek:characters#count_prinky|Count Prinky]] and stuck with his master in time. 

===== Flavon =====

An old friend of [[:robotrek:characters#dr_akibarah|Dr Akibarah]]. Together, they have been looking for the tetron stones for many years.

===== Parsley =====

Persley is [[:robotrek:characters#flavon|Flavon's]] dog. He likes shiny things and has a tendency to bury whatever he finds, just like a dog does.

===== Little Robot =====

Initially constructed as a mute helper by the [[:robotrek:characters#our_hero|Hero]], this one learnt to speak and has been with [[:robotrek:characters#count_prinky|Count Prinky]] ever since the construction of the mansion.

===== Mamurana =====

When [[:robotrek:characters#rask|Rask]] asked [[:robotrek:characters#count_prinky|Count Prinky]] to hide one the the tetron stones, he stuck the stone in a puppet. This double back-fired as the puppet came to life and the mansion was lost in a time rift.

===== Elder =====

He is the leader of the [[:robotrek:map:village|Village]] on the Volcano Island. He's also the only one who knows how to enter the sanctum of their deity.

===== Shaman =====

The shaman of the [[:robotrek:map:village|Village]] is a moody and unpleasant fellow. He is obsessed with finding the shrine of their deity.

===== Napoleon =====

A sentient robot designed by [[:robotrek:characters#rask|Rask]]  and build by him and [[:robotrek:characters#gateau|Gateau]].

===== Blackmore =====

Blackmore, the leader of the hackers. He may at first seem very evil but once he's in trouble he becomes very scared.

===== Stella =====

Stella is a citizen of [[:robotrek:map:rococo_past|old Rococo]] and [[:robotrek:characters#polon|Polon's]] aunt.

===== Polon =====

Polon is the physician of [[:robotrek:map:rococo_past|old Rococo]].

===== Cookie =====

Cookie is one of [[:robotrek:characters#rask|Rask's]] companions and is also from the planet [[:robotrek:map:choco_meeting_room|Choco]].

===== Gateau =====

Gateau, the very last boss in the game and also a very evil character. He flew to Quintenix along with Rask but he turned evil shortly after. He has a strange interest in the tetron...

===== Tira =====

Tira is the current princess of [[:robotrek:map:choco_meeting_room|Choco]] and a descendant of [[:robotrek:characters#cookie|Cookie]].

===== Valet =====

He is the valet to [[:robotrek:characters#tira|Princess Tira]] and judging by his behaviour the prime-minister or [[:robotrek:map:choco_meeting_room|Choco]].
