Controls
Unlike most games Robotrek makes full use of all the buttons of the SNES controller.
| D Pad | Moving around and moving the cursor. |

| Select | Brings up the menu. Rearranges items in your inventory. Switches view points in the world map. Switches robots in battle. |
| Start | Pause the game. |
| A | Interact with an object or person, or, search a spot. |
| B | Cancel selection and close current window. Erase a letter when entering names. Sprint. Charges attack bar faster. |
| X | Open the menu. Back weapon attack. |
| Y | Use selected item. |
| L | Mostly the same as A. Used to program robots. Left hand weapon attack. |
| R | Cycle through windows in the menu screen. Used to program robots. Right hand weapon attack. |
